35 players from the city selected for the karate championship: The Tribune India

Thirty-five players from the city have been selected for the North Indian Karate Championship to be held at Chandigarh University, Mohali, October 9-11.

These players (boys and girls) were selected during the trials conducted to finalize the Punjab karatekas at SN College in Banga yesterday. Shihan Ashok Chohan, secretary general of the Ludhiana District Karate Do Association, said the selected players will participate in the Kata and Kumit events of this championship.

Under 7: Kabir Malhotra and Mahesh Kumar Kanda.

Under 8: Tanush Lekhi and Kanish.

Under 9: Gursahib, Rehan Malhotra and Falak.

Under 10: Ayansh Kataria, Vivan Jindal and Sehajleen Kaur.

Under 11: Inayata, Arhaan and Maghar Singh.

Under 12: Hunar Goswami, Soham Chohan, Arth, Arshpreet and Anushika.

Under 13: Hiya Sarkar, Nabiha Kaur, Arshin Kaur and Nayam Jindal.

Under 14: Harmanveer Singh Sekhon, Paramveer Singh, Rishi Bhatia, Mohit Kumar Kanda and Sabir.

Under 15: Partha Goswami and Arnav Garg.

Under 16: Nikhil.

Under 17: Rohit Mehra.

Under 18: Utkarsh and Puneet Bharti.

Under 19: Vidhi Gulati.

Under 21: Chuninda Chauhan and Raghav. – OC
