boxing video through Broome | WIVT

BINGHAMTON, NY – In an effort to showcase the iconic landmarks we have here in Binghamton, an expert boxing trainer has produced a video titled: Boxing Through Broome.

Herman Tio has over 2 decades of training and coaching experience.

Tio teamed up with Tamdan McCrory, owner of Broome County Martial Arts and UFC veteran to create the video.

The video takes you to 5 locations, the Broome County Courthouse, Washington Street Bridge, Binghamton University, Amusement Park and Mirabito Stadium.

McCrory says the idea behind the video was to let people know that we are here and that we are fighting.

“I’m doing my part here, there are people in other businesses in the region and in the community who are doing it too. This is where we raise our families, this is where we choose to live. Some people are ready to give up and go, but a lot of us are here to keep striving to improve and do better, ”said McCrory.

In the video you will see Paralympian Dan Kosick, E-Class Barbering Experience owner Erick Ballard, son of Herman Toi in 3rd year medical student at BU, computer software engineer for Dicks Sporting Goods Jacque Kane and McCrory ends the video at the stadium.

McCrory mentions that this is only Part 1, so stay tuned for more to come.
