Pick Him: TBRB #7 Sandor Martin vs. Jose Felix (Friday, DAZN, 1:30 p.m. EST)
April 9 is one of the biggest days on the boxing calendar this year so far. Before we get there, we have one of those weeks of calm before the storm. In Jr. welterweight action, fans can ask if the winner of 2021’s biggest upset is arguably a man to watch or a man we once remember.
28-year-old Spaniard Sandor Martin (39-2, 13 KOs) traveled to the United States and knocked down former multi-division titlist Mikey Garcia in his last fight. Now Martin returns to the main event against 29-year-old Mexican Jose Felix (39-5-1, 30 KOs). Martin has never been stopped while Felix has been stopped twice, both in his last six fights. 25-year-old 2016 Spanish Olympian Samuel Carmona (6-0, 4 KOs) is also in action at junior bantamweight.
