‘Dungeons & Dragons’ Reveals Official Title and Release Date

the Dungeons & Dragons the series is ready to spit fire once again.

For the first time in over 20 years, a Dungeons & Dragons the movie is in production. Today, Paramount officially announced the project’s official title, cast, and release date. The movie is called Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Among Thieves. (It’s her official logo above.) It features Chris Pine, Michelle Rodriguez, Regé-Jean Page, Justice Smith, Sophia Lillis and Hugh Grant. Directed by Jonathan Goldstein and John Francis Daley, whose previous films include Holidays and game nightthe film will be released in March 2023.

Paramount is surely hoping for a better outcome than the previous one. Dungeons & Dragons film, which was released in theaters in 2000. This film, directed by Courtney Solomon and starring Justin Whalin, Marlon Wayans, Thora Birch and Jeremy Irons, received poor reviews and was a box office flop. Despite the failure of the first film, Dungeons & Dragons remains the gold standard among role-playing games to this day. Now almost 50 years old, J&D has generated over $1 billion in sales and has supposedly seen an upsurge in players and interest in recent years. So this franchise reboot could come at just the right time.

Dungeons & Dragons: Honor Thieves is set to open in theaters on March 3, 2023.
