3. Ip Man –

A fictionalized portrait of a legendary teacher’s life of a legendary student is worth watching as the TV series “IP Man” reimagines the famous film series of the same name starring martial arts icon Donnie Yen . In the series, Kevin Cheng graced the role.

IP Man is a great master of Wing Chun, a traditional Chinese kung fu. Illuminating the life of IP Man, the show delves into how the grandmaster passes on his knowledge to his most famous student, potential legend Bruce Lee. With the help of the spice of melodrama, this biography enjoyed promising success when it premiered on February 24, 2013.

4. In the Badlands-

This TV show centers on a warrior and his young student on their journey through a post-apocalyptic feudal land named “Badlands”. While encountering barons and nobles and their selfish intentions, the teacher-student duo go through their journey of mastering combat skills as well as seeking spiritual enlightenment.

The first episode of “Into the Badlands” was released on November 15, 2015 and ran for three seasons with positive success. He’s also been acclaimed for avoiding the cliches involved with the fighting genre. 5. Assassins Wu-

After being gifted with an ancient and unique power called “Wu Xing”, Kai Jin, a leader, now involved with the Triad Gangs of San Fransisco, discovers that he is the last “Wu Assassins”, a title which is passed down to various chosen heroes. The show follows Kai as he battles various criminals who hold similar powers but use them for selfish ends.

‘The Raid’ celebrates Iko Uwais as protagonist Kai Jin aka Wu Assassin. This Netflix original action drama is a real treat for martial arts fans. It premiered on August 8, 2019.
