ITF Korea HQ wants taekwondo practitioners to seek the essence of taekwondo


The Republic of Korea International Taekwondo Federation Headquarters Secretariat, Oh Chang Jin, announced that 40 leaders and cadres from taekwondo affiliates headquartered in Tampa, Florida are to visit Taekwondoon in Jeonju and Muju, Jeollabuk-do from September 14 to 15.

It’s about discovering another story and another spirit of Taekwondo by visiting Taekwondowon, the representative training center of the country where Taekwondo was developed.

In addition, the purpose of visiting the beautiful city of Jeonju located in Jeollabuk-do is to visit the Hanok village, which contains traditional Korean houses, to learn the culture and lifestyle of Korean people, and to help teach the spirit of taekwondo to students in metropolitan France.

Jeollabuk-do (Governor of Jeollabuk-do, Kim Gwan-young) promotes and operates travel packages linking Taekwondowon. Jeollabuk-do is the center of traditional Korean culture like bibimbob (dish), hanbok (clothes), hanji (paper) and hanok, and tourists can enjoy the most Korean culture in Jeonju Hanok Village . The Institute for International Cultural Exchange (IICE) cooperates with the agency of this Origin Tour package.
