HONG KONG SAR – Media OutReach – November 23, 2021 – The Hong Kong Institute of Construction Managers (HKICM) and the Hong Kong Construction Association (HKCA) hosted the joint HKICM / HKCA 2021 conference, at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Center today (November 23 ). New technologies are being developed and deployed by the construction industry as it enters the digital age. The conference consisted of four sessions, namely “Challenges in the Construction Industry”, “New Trends and Advanced Technological Applications”, “Adaptations in Hong Kong” and “Strengthening the Role of Construction Managers and Promoting Professionalism”. Organizers had the privilege of welcoming 10 industry leaders and academics from Hong Kong, Mainland China, Singapore and France, who delivered keynotes on the latest industry advancements at the conference. Each of the sessions was followed by a well-received roundtable led by a total of 16 industry professionals.
