Paul Gallen returns to the ring but the first sparks will fly during the pre-fight press conference as he takes on former NRL player Darcy Lussick.
Gallen was scheduled to face Josh Aloiai, but the Sea Eagles star was forced to step down after contracting Covid-19.
He saw former Manly and Parramatta striker Lussick enter the fray, rushing to take on Gallen in a fight card that features big names in the rugby league and the boxing world.

Speaking at Monday’s press conference, No Limit’s George Rose announced a $ 20,000 knockout bonus for the evening.
âI want to see the boys swing,â he said.
Gallen’s last fight ended in a 10th round loss to Justis Huni in June.
Lussick, meanwhile, has only one professional fight under his belt, but that was quite the first statement – a brutal first-round knockout victory over Justin Hodges in 2019.
The 32-year-old was recently in England to play for Feathersone but has since returned to Australia with his powerful punches posing a serious threat to Gallen.
“He’s a harder puncher [than Aloiai]. The other dude was probably going to try to look a little pretty⦠then Darcy is going to show up and just try to hit me, âGallen said at the press conference to announce the fight.
“I have to dodge those big punches and push him back.”
There’s a lot to look forward to on the undercard as well, with Tokyo Olympic bronze medalist Harry Garside starting his professional career.
He faces southpaw Sachin Mudaliar, who is 9-1.
The Gallen-Lusick fight is part of a double header that features a fight led by super flyweight star Andrew Moloney on the first night.
The Australian will face Froilan Saludar in this fight on Tuesday night.
