Are you ready to take on Down & Dirty? – Reyes Boxing is excited to present an evening of slam-bang action, showcasing some of New England’s top professional boxing talent, when the Down & Dirty Professional Boxing series takes place in Melrose, MA at Memorial Hall on Friday 29 October 2021.
âBoxing saved my life, kept me from being a statistic on the streets of the city,â said Michael Reyes, the proud veteran of the Marines Corps and CEO of Reyes Boxing.
âWe started a few months ago with ‘Down & Dirty’ in Maine. Now we’re in Melrose on October 29th, so you can tell we really want to get the word out.
â’Down & Dirty’ will bring the next generation of boxers, newcomers, prospects and contenders from all over the world.
âHowever, we’re going to focus on New England talent. On October 29 in Melrose, we’ll be giving talented and hungry boxers a platform to excel. Spread the word, we offer quality fights.
“I can’t wait to see our athletes compete and rise in the sportâ¦ and that local boxing fans come together for the ride.”
Jeovanis Barraza, a powerful Colombian super welterweight, brings his 22-1 record to Melrose on October 29.
The knockout specialist tops the ten-fight battle map at Memorial Hall, the iconic granite building. Jonathan de Pina (5-1), a lightweight prospect who represents Savin Hill, Dorchester, is also expected to be on the care list.
Alejandro Paulino, another light sniper from the Dominican Republic now living in Connecticut. He’s a perfect 4-for-4, he kayaked his nemesis on his first four outings.

âA portion of the proceeds will go to Melrose Memorial Hall, as a tribute to the soldiers who fought for us and our country,â said Reyes, a Boston native who caught the boxing bug aged 9 and went 60-4 as an amateur, before enlisting to serve the country in the Marines.
âThis venue makes a lot of sense to the city of Melrose and Reyes Boxing is very honored to be able to welcome and bring back boxing to such a special and historic event space.â
âThis Down & Dirty show will be broadcast live on Throwdown Sports, for people who can’t make it to Memorial Hall,â Reyes said.
“I am happy to announce that Michael Woods of ESPN and now RING will do the honors on a piecemeal basis.”
