Tim Tszyu vs Takeshi Inoue date, venue, Gold Coast transfer fight, latest news

Tim Tszyu’s confrontation with Japanese Takeshi Inoue will be moved from the Gold Coast to another location in Australia.

No Limit Boxing announced on Tuesday that the fight would go ahead as planned on November 17, but complications from Covid meant the fight could not take place in Queensland.

“The continued uncertainty regarding the COVID-19 pandemic, in particular the impact of the hotel quarantine on the health and well-being of our fighters, has made it impossible to continue the fight in Queensland,” said the No Limit Boxing CEO George Rose in a statement.

“I want to stress that we fully support the hotel quarantine system and would like to specifically thank Queensland Health for doing all they can to make this fight happen on the Gold Coast.

“I would also like to thank the Mayor of Gold Coast, Tom Tate, and the Major Events Gold Coast team for their commitment and support to this event.

“I can promise everyone that No Limit Boxing will be back on the Gold Coast bigger and better than ever in 2022.” Mr. Rose said.

All tickets purchased will be fully refunded. More details here.
