Update of mask D203

Masks will be required at the start of the next school year for students in Naperville School District 203. At last night’s meeting, the education council voted to follow guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and the Illinois Department of Public Health and demand universal masking at the interior. Students, teachers, staff and visitors will be required to wear masks regardless of their immunization status. District administration will provide an update at the next meeting on August 16th.

City masking

Beginning today, people visiting buildings in the City of Naperville are required to wear masks, regardless of their immunization status. City officials made the announcement yesterday, after consulting with local health officials and reviewing the latest hiding guidelines from the Center for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC). In a press release, city officials added that people attending the board, commission or other meetings are allowed to remove their masks if vaccinated and maintain a social distance of 6 feet.

COVID-19 vaccination clinic

The two local school districts of Naperville Indian Prairie School District 204 and Naperville Community Unit School District 203 are teaming up with the DuPage County Health Department to provide six opportunities to be vaccinated against COVID-19 from August 4 to 14. The Pfizer and Johnson & Johnson vaccines will be offered. Participating students under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
