USA Taekwondo and insurer drop athlete sexual abuse lawsuit

By Eli Flesch (Dec 7, 2021, 3:33 p.m. EST) – Five former athletes have agreed to dismiss USA Taekwondo from their sexual abuse lawsuit against Olympic gold medalist Steven Lopez, according to a court notice, while Markel Insurance Co. agreed to abandon an attempt to temporarily stop arbitration in the lawsuit.
