Vu Ha Son was elected president of the Southeast Asian Federation

According to the Vietnam national karate team, the Southeast Asian Karate Federation Congress voted key positions yesterday and Mr. Vu Ha Son, head of karate under the Vietnam Sports Administration, voted was honored to be elected President of the Southeast Asian Karate Federation President. Federation for the duration of 2022-2026.

Mr. Vu Ha Son said that he would do his best to develop the martial art in the Southeast Asian region during his tenure and the appointment showed the reputation of the Vietnamese martial art of karate.

This is the first time that the representative of Vietnam has been elected to the highest post of the Southeast Asian Karate Federation. Next May, Vietnamese karate will participate in the 31st SEA Games which will be enthusiastically supported by local fans.

Apart from the Southeast Asian Karate Federation Congress, national athletes from the region show up in Cambodia who will complete the 2022 Southeast Asian Karate Championship.

Mr. Vu Ha Son also informed that the Vietnam karate team had sent 19 karate athletes to participate in the competition by March 29, which would be seen as a chance for the national athletes to acquire skills. experience and prepare well for the next SEA Games.
