Who is Jordan Gayle, Jade Jones’ boyfriend?

Jones is in a relationship with ex-taekwondo star Jordan Gayle.

The couple live in an apartment with fellow taekwondo Olympian Bianca Walkden – who is in a relationship with taekwondo athlete Aaron Cook – and Jones thanks them all for helping her continue her training during the lockdown.

Jones said during his BBC documentary Jade Jones: Fighting for Gold ‘: “I was very lucky to have Bianca, Jordan and Aaron to keep us in shape.

“We had kind of a little training camp downstairs – I changed my garage into a taekwondo hall.”

Gayle retired in 2015 after competing at the world championships and winning titles in the -68 kg division.

Roommate Walkden will also compete in Tokyo, while Cook – who represents Moldova – lost in the quarter-finals in May, which interrupted his qualification.

Gayle has been working as a trainer with GB roster since hanging up his dobok.
